CS drivers have an option for automatic alphanumeric result conversions. E.g. If the analyzer sends '1' and the alphanumeric result conversion is enabled then the cobas8K driver replaces the result with Reactive cobasPro with Reac.
In case of instrument replacements in the context of Acc. PiPo (accelerated phase in and phase out) then the customer sees different result, e.g. Reac. vs Reactive in infinity.

After evaluating this idea with Raphael Bratfisch, this idea will not be implemented.. It would go against keeping new implementations retrocompatible with the existing driver.

cobasc311 and ELECSYSv2 v3.1.0.12driver should be considered as well. As the two mentioned analyzer will be replaced mainly with cobasPure
