We are connecting customer's analyzer: UriSed 3 PRO (77 ELEKTRONIKA) to Cobas Infinity. We need a new driver, which supports the Host Query mode (not a batch download only), Patient results and QC transfer from instrument to Infinity.
We recieved information from factory about HL7 protocol for LabUMat2 and Urised Pro3 analysers. Only Urised Pro 3 is able to work in Host query mode for order (Sample Order/Skip example in attached file. ). As we discused in our meeting Chemistry strip is mandatory by default for all samples, then order is not necessary. HL7 result sending example for LabUMat2 and Urised 3 Pro is in Urised Communication Host manual.
Sample Workflow would be like this:
1. Laborant put’s the sample on analyzer. 2. LabUMat2 scan’s barcode for sample and does measurement. 3. LabUMat2 send’s sample results to Urised3 PC witch is connected to LIS and with one direction communication – results sent to LIS. 4. Sample after LabUMat2 measurement goes to Urised3. 5. Urised3 gets order from LIS for sample with Host query response message HL7 protocol communication – To do a measurement or not. 6. Urised3 sends result to LIS (if sample order was sent by LIS). 7. Sample done.

Suggestion for implementation: Use Test profile field to identify if Send/Skip order is needed.
After receiving query from analyzer Infinity should check if test with profile "SED" is added to the order. If True send "OK", if False send "AR".00.
