Initial proposed solution for customer included p312 as the pre-analytics. This is no longer available. Potential solution is to provide the Sarstedt Flex 900 DC/RC pre-analytics.
Was this request approved or was the outcome of the evaluation to proceed no further? We have another customer in the UK (Liverpool) for whom this equipment has been specified and the customer is expecting the instrument to be connected to infinity v3.05.
The following questions were raised by Sarstedt and/or the customer:
IT questions:
The following areas remain to be resolved between Roche Information Solutions (IS) dept and
Sartstedt IS dept.
1. Roche – verify that RC900 can be interfaced to Infinity
2. How are archive locations sent from the RC900 to Infinity
3. How are tray terminations / full trays handled by Sarstedt to Infinity
4. If there are more than one tray per bed location, how will point two above be handled
5. The RC900 normally uses a test repertoire list to manage sorting. However, it was proposed
that Infinity would simply send one of two dummy test codes ( e.g. Archive or Sendaway)
Need to verify if both sides feel this is acceptable.
6. Roche IS – Is it possible to designate the suggested tray locations to a ‘Transit’ lab for
tracking the samples between sites
7. Roche IS – is it possible to use the same Zebra printer to print out multiple tray location
labels
8. Roche – Will there be an issue archiving both aliquots and primaries in the same tray?
9. Roche – Will the RC900 be able to communicate with Infinity not being on our firewall
Is it possible to transfer this driver to the UK affiliate (Rob Sykes) to allow for the completion of the required validation?
