ALINITYH v3.1.1.44 - Should create QC ranges Quantitative Symmetric and not Quantitative Asymmetric

Hello,

Creating Quantitative Asymetric QC for Alinity CI is not correct. 95% of instruments uses Symetric QC and Alinity is one of them.

    Hello Marius,

As agreed via email, there's no definition in the manuals for SD and target values in the manuals. Therefore, we cannot implement this change in the driver.

    Regards,

    Hello Paola,

Infinity is able to calculate SD and target values if you have min and max values.

Customer can enter min/max and get SD/target values or Customer can enter SD/target and get min/max values.

So to have quantitative symmetric QC it's enough to have min and max. SD and Target will be calculated by Infinity.

Then Customer is entering QC manually he also enters only min and max, the rest is calculated by Infinity.

    Hello Marius,

Thanks for reaching out. Can you please share a trace of the messages that the instrument is sending? In the screenshot attached I see that there's no SD value, which I believe is necessary to create a quantitave symmetric results. Also, we'd like to check if there's a value that our driver could set as target value, therefore making the quantitative result symmetric.

Please, share this information via email.

    Thanks,

    Paola
