We are currently taking over Abbot laboratory and need to connect all instruments to Infinity. As it was connected to Abbot middleware we need to make sure same functionality level after migration to Infinity.

Hello Marius,
After sharing this information with the team, we come to the conclusion that we cannot support both modes (images and results) in the same driver, considering they come with different protocols. Therefore, this connection will be developed as an ASTM driver supporting patient results and query messages.

Dear team,
I've been in discussion with the customer and instrument engineer.
It's now clear that driver is for a result interpretation software Biocheck - Polycheck (https://polycheck.de/products/) - So I was thinking that it would be correct to rename the driver to Polycheck driver instead of AP Blot. Because we are not connecting instrument directly.
Now it is clear that we Polycheck has Two ways of sending results, it is not possible to have both. I will investigate more but it seams we will have to decide what to develop. I think b scenario is more correct.

Adding information of ASTM export message and manual.
I noticed that this message and protocol is very similar to Seegen Viewer driver. So you might be able to use it and shorten development time.
If we can't have both scenarios as an option in the driver then I would like to go with B scenario - were we get results.

Adding Host-In, Host-Out and picture.
As it seams to me the instrument doesn't send results in raw format. It only sends a link to the PNG file.
I'm not able to get HostIn file for the ordering, but I have HostOut.
We can work on HostOut in the first phase of driver. So we only need to read SampleID, Test name and path to the folder of PNG file.
I need to show this file in Infinity and as well send it to LIS as path in Infinity server.

Dears, I have added additional requirement "Graphical results" the result files have a path to a png file. We need to see this png in Infinity and also send Infinity png path to LIS.
